Director, Vexcolt India. Runs the design, supply and installation of building movement joints across India.
Samyak K. Jain is a director of Vexcolt India Pvt. Ltd., the Indian arm of Vexcolt Ltd, UK, which has made movement joints since 1985. Vexcolt India has manufactured in New Delhi since 2012 and installs with its own teams. Its work spans hospitals, metro and railway stations, IT campuses and residential towers across India.
He holds an MSc in Computer Vision, Robotics and Machine Learning from the University of Surrey (2020).

Editorial standard
- Every figure is traced to a document: a Vexcolt data sheet, a method statement or a project record. If a number cannot be traced, the sentence is cut.
- Codes are cited, not paraphrased from memory. IS 456, IS 1893 and ASTM E-1399 are named where they govern.
- No prices, ever. Rates depend on the job; articles explain the engineering.
- Products are described as they are supplied in India. Where a system is imported to order from the Vexcolt group, the article says so.
